The Iowa River Landing Pharmacy is seeking a 75%25 time, Pharmacy Technician, Trainee or Certified. Under general supervision performs activities associated with drug distribution and control for outpatient and clinic patient dispensing. 40 hours will be accomplished between the hours of 6:30am - 8:00pm on Mondays - Thursday and 6:30am - 6:00pm on Fridays and between 8:30am -12:30pm on Saturday.

MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR TRAINEE TECHNICIAN:
Registered as Trainee with the Iowa Board of Pharmacy at the time of hire.
All pharmacy technicians must be certified within one year of employment.
High school diploma or the equivalent.
MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR CERTIFIED TECHNICIAN:
Registered with the Iowa Board of Pharmacy at the time of hire.
National certification through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the National Healthcareer Association (NHA). Must meet ongoing education requirements and maintain certification. High school diploma or the equivalent.
Any combination of two years of post-high school experience and/or education in the natural sciences OR satisfactory completion of an accredited pharmacy technician training program.
EXPERIENCE:
