Job Summary: | The Soragni Laboratory is recruiting two full-time Laboratory Science Professionals to support research focused on patient-derived organoid models, cancer cell biology, and translational screening workflows. These roles contribute to the day-to-day execution of laboratory experiments, including organoid culture, assay preparation, and general laboratory operations. The entry level position is intended for candidates with a Bachelor’s degree who are building foundational research experience in a translational laboratory environment. The intermediate and senior level position is intended for candidates with prior hands-on research experience. Responsibilities across both levels may include processing primary samples, maintaining three-dimensional culture systems, supporting drug screening and characterization assays, and contributing to routine laboratory management tasks such as ordering and safety compliance. Senior-level staff will additionally support troubleshooting, workflow optimization, lab management support, independent research, and training of junior personnel. These positions support a research program centered on patient-derived organoids, high throughput screening, and translational modeling of hard-to-treat and rare cancers- Key Responsibilities:
