Job Summary:

This Clinical Associate Professor position will report to the chair of the department of Cell & Developmental Biology but work in the Modern Human Anatomy Program (MHA). The incumbent will direct student MHA research projects and provide contact and support for our current, very large, cohort of pre-dental students. This position is a 0.05 FTE position.

This role is expected to work onsite and is located at the Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, CO.

The Department of Cell and Developmental Biology is one of six basic science departments in the School of Medicine on the Anschutz Medical Campus at the University of Colorado. This campus opened 20 years ago and continues to build new research and clinical buildings, along with a growing bioscience park.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire. 

Candidates must hold a DDS or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

Candidates should have a strong record of educational support and coaching and mentoring graduate students, in addition to extensive experience and research in the dental field. Background in engineering and experience with milling, 3D scanning, and 3D printing is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Ability to guide and support students in dental based capstone projects.

Anticipated Pay Range:

The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE:

$7,500 per annum
