Summary of Job Duties:

Reports to Tutor Coordinator and meet with project participants on their respective campuses weekly to assist with developmental and college-level coursework and test preparation. Will serve as a role model, demonstrating characteristics and strategies crucial to college success. Effort is made to fill these positions with current or former SSS participants.


Qualifications:

Must have and earned a grade of “A” or “B” in the tutored course, excellent communication skills and a demonstrated sensitivity to the needs of economically and educationally disadvantage and disable students.

Preferred background similar to target population.
