Education & Work Experience:
This position requires a high school diploma or its equivalent plus three or more years of general administrative experience. Other job related education and/or experience may be substituted for part of these requirements. An associate degree is preferred.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs all phases of reception and clerical duties for the department and for the executive director, including answering phones, greet, direct and provide general information for employees and visitors, typing of documents, student files. This includes assistance in answering phones and greeting visitors at the Peak Innovation Center.
Coordinate all purchases and tracking for required instructional and administrative supplies as well as purchases for student licensures.
Responsible for a variety of assigned reports, projects, and documentation included in the taking and recording of student attendance and maintains staff calendars. This includes managing daily records of student arrival/departure.
Performs data entry and updates concurrent student records in appropriate databases.
Responsible for entering mileage and travel needs for faculty, staff and students.
Organize details for staff meetings, programs, and other events by arranging times and facilities.

Working Relationships: Has frequent contact with faculty, staff, students, regional school districts, and vendors.
Special Job Dimensions: Work performed primarily in an office setting and is located at the Peak Innovation Center. Occasional travel required. Occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds. Occasional overtime required.
