Summary of Job Duties:

The Licensed Social Worker for the Behavioral Health Service Line’s Consultation Service functions in the role assisting the patient and family and interdisciplinary team through the care episode. Primary duties in addition to any discharge planning activities include individual, group, and family therapy to the adult population, communicating with the patients, assisting in the development of a specific treatment plan that reflects the therapeutic intervention to address the patient’s needs. Provides services through the Psychiatric Consultation Liaison Service.


Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Social Work
  • Must be licensed by Arkansas Professional Board - Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the field of acute, adult mental health
  • Two (2) years of work experience in the behavioral health field
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office programs – Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Required CPI upon hire; CPR prior to hire
