- Remain compliant ODJFS Child Care Licensing Rules at all times
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
Education
- High School Equivalent / GED (Required)
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Knowledge of child development (Required proficiency)
- Ability to communicate effectively with families and children of all ages (Required proficiency)
- Basic Computer skills (Required proficiency)
- Web navigation including for online training purposes (Required proficiency)
- Ability to email, print, scan documents and photos (Required proficiency)
Licenses and Certifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR, First Aid and Management of Communicable Disease (Required within 90 Days)
- Maintain current Professional Development Certificate in the Ohio Professional Registry (Required)
- Child Abuse Recognition training (Required within 60 Days)

What you'll do
- The assistant will be responsible for following the daily schedule, assisting with assessments, maintaining a caring and safe classroom environment through active supervision and sanitization, and ensuring compliance with Ohio licensing rules. They must also communicate daily with families regarding their child's activities and wellbeing while monitoring for illness.
