Ahuja Medical Center brings their nursing students into the Float Pool where you will have the opportunity to experience different nursing units throughout the hospital. This allows students to become more well-rounded in their learning as each unit provides a unique learning experience for students on their journey through nursing school!

What can I do as a NAII?
- NA IIs work under the direction of an RN to provide safe, efficient, age-specific care to patients and families to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and/or sustain optimal health status. Responsibilities include:
- Direct patient care delivery, including, but not limited to:
- ADLs/hygiene, Vital signs, I&O, Bladder scanning, EKG, Glucometer & other point of care testing (where applicable) and Restraints
- Communication and documentation of interventions and observations
- Participation in quality improvement process
- Involved in learning and self-improvement
- Initiates and maintains a positive relationship with patients/customers and coworkers - why UH

Education Requirements
- Enrollment in a Diploma RN, Associate or bachelor’s degree of Nursing from an accredited program
- Successful completion of a Registered Nursing Fundamentals course required
- Most up-to-date transcripts should be uploaded with application
- Note: Education verification will be required upon receiving a job offer.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience on a related unit or specialty in a practicum, internship or STNA/PCNA/NAII is preferred

What you'll do
- Student Nurses, acting as NAIIs, work under an RN to deliver safe, age-specific care, assisting patients in achieving optimal health status through tasks like hygiene, vital signs, and point-of-care testing. Responsibilities also include communicating and documenting interventions and observations while participating in quality improvement processes.
