Job Description

Performs physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.  Communicates progress to intradepartmental staff and interdepartmental staff.  May assist with supervision of PTA students.  Maintains equipment and departmental supplies.

Minimum Requirements

  • Missouri Physical Therapist Assistant License
  • Verbal and written communication skills required to discuss and document treatment programs and work issues
  • Physical ability to teach and demonstrate locomotor skills, gross and fine-motor skills.
  • Must maintain certification in BCLS for continued employment.

Preferred

  • Associates Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • One-year of experience in a hospital setting preferred.
