Are you someone who loves to keep things shiny and spotless? Do you have an eye for detail and a passion for making sure everything looks its best? We’re looking for a Floor Technician to help keep our facility looking its absolute finest—one clean, sparkling floor at a time!
What You'll Be Doing:
Shine Bright Like a Diamond: You’ll be the go-to person for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of all our floors. You’ll follow our maintenance schedule to ensure every inch is looking its best.
Tackle Special Projects: Periodic floor care projects will be your opportunity to shine even brighter—whether it's a deep clean or refinishing work, you’ll make sure everything is pristine.
Safety First: You’ll ensure that every floor surface meets safety and infection control standards, keeping everyone safe and sound.
Teamwork Makes the Dream Work: You’ll work as part of our Environmental Services team, jumping in wherever needed to keep the facility running smoothly.
What We’re Looking For:
People Person: You’re great at connecting with others—whether it’s staff, patients, or visitors, you’ve got the communication skills to make everyone feel welcome.
Strong & Steady: You’re able to lift and carry more than 50 pounds with ease (using proper ergonomics, of course) and aren’t afraid to bend, stoop, and get down to business when it comes to stripping and refinishing floors.
Tech-Savvy: You’re familiar with electric and battery-powered floor care equipment and know how to use it safely and efficiently.
Safety Smarts: You know how to read and understand cleaning chemical labels, so you’re always aware of what you’re using and how to stay safe.
Ready to Go: You’re physically able to rock this role for an entire shift without breaking a sweat. Plus, you’ve got six months of experience working in Environmental Services, ideally in a healthcare or institutional setting.
Quick Learner: You’re ready to complete the training and mentoring program, pass your competency assessment, and be on your way to success in 30-60 days!
