This role is a corporate position but has the ability to work out of any of our four locations - Dunkirk, NY, Bridgeville, PA, North Jackson, OH or Titusville, PA.
Primary Objective:
To develop and maintain comprehensive automation systems based on company framework. Analyze, design, code, test and implement systematic solutions to meet end user or business unit requirements. Provides general support to maintain applications that meet the service levels, system availability, performance and quality levels required by their end user or business unit.
Essential Responsibilities:
Responsible for analyzing, designing, coding, testing, and implementing application enhancements, as well as providing general production support, meeting defined scope, target dates and budgets.
Collaborates with business units and IT team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions. Concentrates on providing innovative solutions to business needs.
Provides required technical support, including release implementations, on-call and 24x7 supports when necessary.
Actively participates in project teams.
Effectively communicates with team members, business units and management, including assisting with or conducting technical walkthroughs, reporting project status, and providing accurate and concise documentation.
Utilizes and participates in the full system development life cycle.
Other duties as assigned or requested.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or related field
5+ years of relevant professional experience, including:
Programming and troubleshooting experience with RsLogix5000, Studio 5000, and Siemens TIA portal
Programming and troubleshooting experience with Factory Talk View ME/SE, and network distributed projects.
Programming and troubleshooting of AC and DC drives from various manufactures, Rockwell, ABB, Omron, Siemens.
Experience with AutoCAD.
Experience with Rockwell Automation Transaction Manager and Ignition
Experience with setting up and maintaining industrial controls networks, ControlNet, DeviceNet, Ethernet, Profibus.
Experience with motion control and servo axis controls.
Experience with high-speed data acquisition and analysis software such as IBA analyzer.
Experience utilizing Microsoft SQL, TSQL, Views, Functions, & Stored Procedures.
Understanding of industrial electrical schematics and troubleshooting of electrical circuits and components.

Available to provide support outside of standard business hours, including nights or weekends, as needed to ensure continuous operation of critical systems.

Some overnight travel may be required but mostly just day trips between four plants
