Shift: Saturday and Sunday 6am to 2 pm
The PCT is responsible for providing medical and counseling support to Powell CDC patients. The PCT also assists in the provision of patient monitoring, orientation, patient recovery and recreational support. Consistently utilizes a holistic approach (considering physical, psych/social, spiritual, education, safety, and related criteria) appropriate to the age of the patients served in the assigned service area.

Responsibilities
- Takes and records vital signs, withdrawal symptoms and mental health symptoms.
- Performs and documents direct care given to patients in conformance with treatment plan.
- Notify RN or medical staff of significant patient medical or behavioral health concerns.
- Coordinates and reports urine drug monitoring procedures, result reports, color assignments and reports these to clinical team daily.
- Completes new patient orientation and recreation activities with patients and documents in the EHR.
- Utilizes a holistic approach (considering physical, psych/social, spiritual, educational, safety, and related criteria) appropriate to the age of the patients served in the assigned service area.
Qualifications
Education:
- Eighteen (18) years old
- High School graduate or GED equivalent
- 75 Hour Basic CNA Course or CMA
Experience:
- Previous healthcare experience, or experience in behavioral health/substance use disorder services preferred
License(s)/Certification(s):
- Valid driver’s license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons
- Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain certification within three (3) months from date of hire
