1. Education: Secretarial experience, good communication and computer skills are necessary.. Must be capable of verbal and written communication to understand instructions regarding the registration, scheduling of patients and interaction with patients, referral sources and insurance providers. Some hospital attendant / rehab tech experience is desirable for set up and operation of equipment as well as to facilitate patient care.
2. Training and Experience: On-the job training to learn department procedures.
3. Job Knowledge: Must be capable of following standard procedures and detailed instructions when managing departmental data, assisting with or scheduling patients and setting up equipment.

DESCRIPTION: PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for providing clerical support and carrying out activities as directed by the department director and or supervisor in a professional and ethical manner. The incumbent shall also demonstrate accountability for contribution to program development, quality improvement, problem solving, and promotion of departmental and individual operational efficiency and productivity. Prepares patients and equipment for therapy.
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Assists therapist in administering treatments and carries out orders for treatments. Performs tasks to maintain department in an orderly condition.
