Description

Compensation:

  • Non-exempt/hourly
  • The standard wage range for this role is $26.47 to $31.11 per hour
  • It may be possible to earn more over time up to $35.75 per hour
  • Currently offering a Sign-On Bonus of $2,000 prorated by Full-time Equivalency (FTE) and subject to 2-year payback clause


Work Schedule:

  • Full time (40 hours per week)
  • Schedules are four 10-hour days or five 8-hour days
  • Workdays are Monday-Friday with occasional Saturdays
  • Day shifts only

Job Summary


The Medical Assistant provides and coordinates medical care in an outpatient setting at either our Bellingham or Ferndale clinic following a patient-centered, primary care model including the following tasks:

  • Completes patient rooming process.
  • Completes patient testing and procedures following provider orders/standing orders.
  • Performs desktop management and computer tasks.
  • Performs immunizations and injections.
  • Performs general clinical operation duties.
  • Precepts new employees and coaches MA Apprentices.
  • Orders supplies, medications, and vaccines.

Requirements


Preferred Qualifications
  • Two years of Medical Assisting experience
  • Experience in an outpatient clinic serving all ages, including providing immunizations
  • A strong interest in working with a diverse patient population
