<p><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">As a Clinical Technologist, you’ll be a critical member of our team, supporting patient flow and engaging in various clinical support tasks. After completing your initial training (4-6 weeks), you’ll perform all job responsibilities independently with confidence. This entry-level role is ideal for MAs and PCTs looking to expand their skills and take on new challenges in a fast-paced clinic environment.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></span></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Patient Care Support:</strong> Assist with patient rooming, verification, and vitals documentation. Use eCW to update patient status and maintain smooth patient flow.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Procedure Support:</strong> Prepare exam rooms, support sterile and non-sterile procedures, assist in surgical procedures, and follow CDC and OSHA guidelines for safety and cleanliness.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Documentation & Inventory:</strong> Document patient information, complete consent forms, manage inventory, and keep exam rooms stocked.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Compliance & Confidentiality:</strong> Uphold all HIPAA standards, follow UVVC's Core Values and Standards of Conduct, and maintain the highest level of patient confidentiality.</span></li>

<p><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Qualifications:</strong></span></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">High School diploma or equivalent</span></li>
<li style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">Minimum of one year of experience as a Medical Assistant, Patient Care Technician, Surgical Technician, or Scrub Technician in a patient care setting</span></li>
<li style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Certification:</strong> BLS certification required within 60 days of hire (American Heart Association preferred)</span></li>
<li style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">Preferred completion of an accredited MA or Surgical Technologist program</span></li>
<li style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">Strong communication skills and experience with electronic medical records (EMR)</span></li>
<li style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;">Dependable, punctual, and knowledgeable in medical terminology</span></li>
