You might be who we are looking for.</p> <p><strong>The Role</strong></p> <p>This is a hands-on DevOps role where you will work across multiple products within the Capital Markets division, supporting a growing client base and helping to ensure our platforms remain robust, secure, and scalable.</p> <p>You will collaborate with colleagues at all levels of the organisation and play a key role in client onboarding, platform reliability, and operational excellence. As we continue to align infrastructure and surrounding processes across the products within the Capital Market division, you will contribute directly to shaping how we operate at scale.</p> <p>We are a team that prides itself on high standards. Responsibilities, challenges, and opportunities will grow rapidly based on clear, objective, meritocratic criteria.</p> <p><strong>Key responsibilities include:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Managing our estate of AWS cloud assets: <ul> <li>IAM</li> <li>Compute - EC2, ECS</li> <li>Storage - S3, RDS, DynamoDB</li> <li>Cloudwatch</li> <li>Networking</li> <li>Security</li> <li>Load Balancers &amp; DNS Management</li> </ul> </li> <li>Managing automated infrastructure delivery via Terraform</li> <li>Working with third party partners (platform vendors etc)</li> <li>Working with our CTO to manage the continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) pipelines and manage the release process</li> <li>Assisting with the onboarding of new customers</li> <li>Managing security – authorised IPs, key rotation etc</li> <li>Support documentation/wiki maintenance</li> <li>BCP planning and testing</li> <li>Continuation of adherence to SOC2/ISO27001 practices</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Candidate Profile</strong></p> <p>We are looking for a DevOps professional who combines strong technical capability with a collaborative, execution-focused mindset. You are comfortable working in complex, high-availability environments and take ownership of outcomes from design through to delivery.</p> <p><strong>Essential to succeed:</strong></p> <ul> <li>3+ years of hands-on AWS experience</li> <li>Strong experience with Terraform</li> <li>Linux administration experience (AWS Linux / CentOS)</li> <li>STEM background</li> <li>Excellent communication skills and ability to work across technical and non-technical teams</li> <li>High attention to detail and strong operational discipline</li> <li>A results-focused mindset with the ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines</li> <li>Willingness to learn and adopt new technologies as the platform evolves</li> <li>Experience with:</li> <ul> <li>Ansible</li> <li>Prometheus</li> </ul> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Helpful if you also bring</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience working with financial markets or market infrastructure</li> <li>AWS Certified Solutions Architect (or similar)</li> <li>Microsoft O365 tenant management</li> <li>Experience with:</li> <ul> <li>Packer</li> <li>OpenVPN</li> <li>NGINX</li> <li>Docker</li> <li>Kubernetes</li> </ul> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Working at United Fintech - London</strong></p> <p>You will work in an international and collaborative environment that values initiative, precision, and ownership.
