PURPOSE OF THE JOB
As WH coordinator you will be part of the team that coordinates, monitor, and optimize the movement, storage, and distribution of inventory (berries) within the warehouse/s, ensuring compliance with quality standards, inventory accuracy, and timely dispatch or receipt of inventory.
Open for candidates based in Philadelphia, New Jersey or Delaware areas.
Key Performance Outputs
- Maintain balanced inventory levels with optimal rotation to ensure product freshness and availability.
- Adhere to priority guidelines to fulfill sales allocations efficiently and on time.
- Monitor inventory issues and proactively seek solutions for any products requiring attention, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Coordinate sales shipments by ensuring timely delivery of accurate information and instructions.
- Co-ordinate with Logistics Team to track products throughout the shipping process until delivery is completed.
- Report any issues that may impact the customer to the Sales and Logistics Managers to ensuring prompt resolution.
- Continuously track shipments from growers as they arrive at controlled warehouses.
- Provide regular updates on product availability to ensure accurate inventory management and timely order fulfillment.
- Organize and oversee packing and repacking services.
- Monitor timings and agreed rates for repacking services to ensure compliance.
- Report any anomalies promptly and follow up to ensure corrective actions are taken for future control.
- Provide detailed charge information to the Manager and Accounting departments.
- Address any discrepancies by managing necessary debit or credit notes and ensuring proper documentation.
- Coordinate the necessary fruit inspections according to QC parameters, ensuring they are completed before the product is shipped
Requirements
Qualification / Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, Agricultural Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in handling and processing perishable goods in a high-volume, quality-sensitive environment.
- Worked with shippers, vessel lines, trucking companies and import agents.
- Experience in service agreements with warehouses, trucking companies, suppliers of materials and others
- Experience in inventory management and systems.
- Experience with sales operations, coordinating shipping and fulling orders.
- Strong communication skills.
Functional / Technical
- Computer literacy: Proficient in MS Office. / Advanced Excel
- Experience in database management and ERP systems.
- Strong understanding of the sales process from order receipt to delivery.
- NetSuite and/or Famous knowledge desired.
- Results Oriented, analytical and problem-solving skills.
