SUMMARY

The Communities Project Coordinator plays a key role in delivering fast, reliable internet to single-family and multifamily communities served by United Communications. This position works closely with the Communities Project Manager to coordinate project activities, maintain project trackers and schedules, communicate updates to internal and external stakeholders, and ensure projects are completed safely and on time. The role involves frequent fieldwork to support project execution, verify and quality-check progress, and coordinate with field teams. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable collaborating with both technical teams and business partners.


POSITION SCHEDULE AND ONSITE REQUIREMENTS

This is a direct-hire, full-time position based out of our Berry Farms office in Franklin, TN. The role involves a combination of office-based and field work.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties include the following, but other duties may be assigned as required.

Project Coordination

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Engineering, Construction, and Operations) to ensure smooth project progression and timely delivery.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and vendors to support day-to-day project execution.
  • Monitor project milestones and communicate progress, risks, issues, or changes to the Project Manager and Communities Manager.
  • Conduct extensive fieldwork, including site walks to track progress, meet with field teams, perform quality checks on completed work, and help mitigate issues.
  • Schedule project meetings, prepare agendas, and distribute meeting notes and follow-up action items.
  • Assist with maintaining and updating the Communities project tracker to ensure stakeholders are working from current and accurate information.
  • Support the identification of new residential developments, including single-family and multifamily communities, through research, permit review, and community engagement.

Partner Engagement

  • Serve as a liaison between United Communications and external stakeholders, including developers, builders, and property managers.
  • Build relationships with developers and builders early in the development process to position United Communications as the preferred telecom provider.
  • Represent United Communications at industry and community events as needed, maintaining visibility and fostering trust with stakeholders.


WHAT YOU BRING

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in a project coordination, administrative, or support role; telecommunications or technical experience preferred.
  • Experience supporting field operations, construction, or engineering teams.
  • Experience with fiber installation and repair
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities in a team-based environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Clear written and verbal communication
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with project tracking tools.
