Description

Job overview and responsibilities

 

Developer / Engineer – ServiceNow works with the ServiceNow Platform and ServiceNow engineering team to deliver technical design, configuration, implementation, and maintenance activities within the ServiceNow platform. Implements different solutions based on business requirements and authorized designs. Conducts regular platform maintenance activities.

  • Investigate and diagnose problems, find root causes and identify solutions and provide support to end-users, resolving issues as needed.
  • Partner with ServiceNow team members to develop workflows, perform testing, and assist in solution development. 
  • Draft and update system design documentation and knowledge articles as required.
  • Help monitor the overall platform health and performance, identifying potential issues and proactively addressing them.
  • Provide L2 support and remediate platform incidents across multiple processes and modules.
  • Assist with Configuring, managing, and maintaining the ServiceNow platform, ensuring its functionality and performance including bi-annual upgrade activities
  • Ensure compliance with platform architecture and governance.

 

This position is offered on local terms and conditions. Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded. This position is for 
United Airlines Business Services Pvt. Ltd - a wholly owned subsidiary of United Airlines Inc.

Qualifications

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

 

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience implementing business processes in ServiceNow.
  •  2+ years hands-on experience conducting ServiceNow platform remediation activities.
  •  Certified System Administrator - ServiceNow
  • ServiceNow experience including but not limited to ITSM, Knowledge, ACL’s, Business rules, Script Includes and other relevant components and modules.
  • Experience with JavaScript, AJAX, JSON, REST, XML, and other relevant technologies and frameworks.
  • Experience with ServiceNow APIs (GlideAggregate, GlideRecord, etc.), and integrations with third-party tools.
  • Experience with ServiceNow Reporting, dashboards and report creation.
  •  Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  •  Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify solutions and drive for solution implementation.
  • Ability to work independently and self-motivate.
  •  Excellent team player, engaging, and proactively identify opportunities to improve process and drive for delivery.

  • Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems
  • Service Portal experience: Develop and customize ServiceNow Portals using AngularJS, HTML, CSS, and related frameworks.
  • Perform portal scripting in Angular and CSS-based UX/UI design.
  • Any additional CIS - ServiceNow certification
  • Hands on experience working in App Engine Studio
