<p><strong>Job Summary</strong><br>The Property &amp; Casualty (P&amp;C) Technical Trainer is responsible for designing, delivering, and continuously improving technical insurance training programs that support the professional development of client-facing and operational team members. This role ensures employees build and maintain strong knowledge of commercial coverage, carrier requirements, agency workflows, and industry best practices.</p><p><br><strong>Essential Functions</strong><br>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Develop and deliver technical onboarding content to new hires in P&amp;C roles.<br>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Facilitate instructor-led training (in-person and virtual), workshops, and webinars on P&amp;C technical topics.<br>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Design and develop engaging learning materials including presentations, job aids, quick reference guides, and e-learning modules.<br>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Teach core P&amp;C concepts including coverages, endorsements, policy forms, underwriting guidelines, certificates, statement of values, evidence of property, claims processes, and risk management fundamentals.<br>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Translate complex insurance concepts into practical, role-relevant learning.<br>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Establish collaborative partnerships with all P&amp;C verticals and Market Leaders to identify development needs and agreed-upon objectives.<br>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Identify and involve internal and external P&amp;C subject matter experts in the design, development, and delivery of learning solutions.<br>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Partner with Learning and Development, Operations, and Leadership to collect data to address additional needs and performance gaps, and to ensure training aligns with agency processes.<br>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Stay current on industry trends, carrier changes, regulatory requirements, and coverage updates.&nbsp;<br>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Track and evaluate learner progress through assessments, observations, and feedback. Identify skill gaps and recommend targeted training solutions.<br>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Design assessment and evaluation methods to gain feedback from participants following learning activities. Review regularly with the L&amp;D Partner to identify ways to continuously improve effectiveness.<br>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Participate in monthly meetings with the L&amp;D Partner and P&amp;C Manager(s) to plan and discuss strategic learning initiatives.<br>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Additional duties as required.</p><p><strong>Minimum Education/Abilities/Skills</strong><br>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Minimum of 5 years of Property &amp; Casualty insurance experience within an independent agency environment<br>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Subject knowledge expertise of Commercial Lines coverage<br>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Experience training, coaching, mentoring, or leading others<br>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Excellent presentation and facilitation skills<br>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Ability to communicate complex topics clearly and effectively<br>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Ability to work independently with limited supervision.<br>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Ability to learn third party computer programs/websites.<br>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Demonstrates accountability, works well under pressure, and meets deadlines and deliverables.<br>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Projects confidence in interactions with colleagues.<br>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.</p><p><strong>Additional Qualifications&nbsp;</strong><br>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Possess appropriate, jurisdictional licenses<br>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Experience with Applied EPIC desired but not required<br>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in business or other related field is preferred.</p><p>RCM&amp;D, a Unison Risk Advisors company and founding member of Assurex Global, is an equal opportunity employer and will consider all applications without regard to race, sex, age, color, religion, national origin, veteran status, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information or any characteristic protected by law.</p>
