<p data-pm-slice="1 3 []"><strong><u>Job Summary:</u></strong></p><p>At Oswald Companies, we are seeking a Carrier Payables Specialist to join our dedicated team responsible for managing financial transactions related to carriers and clients. As an integral part of our finance department, you will ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, statements, and adherence to financial policies and procedures.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>A Day in the Life:</u></strong></p><ul><li><p>Monitor, review, and process carrier payments</p></li><li><p>Work directly with our service team and carriers to facilitate accurate and timely completion of carrier payables function</p></li><li><p>Obtain necessary approvals and signatures on checks and other payment documents</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with internal departments to resolve carrier payable-related issues and ensure smooth operations, this includes but is not limited to client service team, billing, and AR</p></li><li><p>Assist in the development and enhancements of carrier payables process through streamlining tasks and improving efficiency</p></li><li><p>Develop and maintain strong relationships with agency partners and carrier partners, addressing inquiries and resolving payment discrepancies in a professional and timely manner</p></li><li><p>Implementing and maintaining carrier payables policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company guidelines</p></li><li><p>Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information and adhere to regulatory requirements</p></li><li><p>Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment</p></li><li><p>Completes a higher volume of tasks and demonstrates ability to navigate complex processes</p></li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>What You'll Need:</u></strong></p><ul><li><p>Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to analyze complex financial data</p></li><li><p>Shows initiative to complete work without the prompting of others</p></li><li><p>Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with agency partners, carrier partners and internal stakeholders</p></li><li><p>Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment</p></li><li><p>Solid problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues</p></li><li><p>Proficiency in financial software and spreadsheets: Experience with Vertafore AMS360 and ImageRight and spreadsheets to accurately record outgoing payments</p></li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>Who You Are/Experience:</u></strong></p><ul><li><p>Dedicated: Committed to maintaining accuracy and efficiency in financial transactions.</p></li><li><p>Problem-solver: Resourceful in resolving discrepancies and improving processes</p></li><li><p>Detail-oriented: Thorough in reviewing and documenting financial information</p></li><li><p>Team player: Collaborative mindset to work effectively with colleagues and contribute to team success</p></li><li><p>Integrity-driven: Upholds confidentiality and ethical standards in financial reporting</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with insurance agency management systems and processes helpful</p></li><li><p>Proficient in using agency management system software and Microsoft office applications preferred</p></li><li><p>Strong knowledge of carrier invoicing processes, agency management systems, and insurance billing practices preferred</p></li></ul><p class="MsoNormal"><strong>Physical and Environmental Demands</strong></p><p class="MsoNormal">This role involves typical duties performed in an office environment.
