About this role
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join the team in our Hickey's Cappagh, Finglas Pharmacy.
This is a 40-hour (Monday to Friday, every 3rd Saturday) 12-month contract position with the opportunity to be made permanent.
The stores' opening hours operate between 9 am to 7 pm Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm on Saturday and are closed on Sunday.
The team currently comprises a Managing Pharmacist, another part-time Technician role and 2 Sales Assistants.

The responsibilities of the role
- Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.
- To prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist in a caring and professional manner.
- Controlling stock levels and ordering medicines as determined by store requirements.
- Preparation of blister packs and processing and tracking claims.
- Reporting to and supporting the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.
Requirements:
- Experience working in a busy dispensary is an advantage, but newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply.
- Experience with McLernons MPS (an advantage).
- IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy
- Technician Studies an advantage
