About this role
Business Context and Main Purpose of the Job:
Support development and execution of the logistics excellence program across Greater Asia. Key responsibility includes driving the cost/ savings program, developing analytics & benchmarking projects, running network studies and deploying capabilities to support the digital/transformation program.
Main Accountabilities:
- Identify, monitor & deliver savings opportunities for GA/BUs.
- Drive the on-time deployment of digital capabilities per market.
- Run logistics network projects – conceptualize scenarios, run network optimization analysis, design framework for execution.
- Develop & run analytics and benchmarking projects to identify cost/ performance improvements.
- Develop and enhance performance visibility; implement systems & tools and provide the analytical framework to mine data.
- Track spend vs. budget and identify gaps and opportunities for cost avoidance.
- Drive sustainability agenda to deliver CO2 reduction commitments.
- Work intensively with the wider internal (logistics operations, procurement, finance, IT) and external (3PLs) logistics network.
- Develop new capabilities & technologies, partnering with incumbent and new logistics solution providers to establish pilots in existing operations.
- Capture & share best practice solutions within the cluster and globally.
- Build a strong safety and security program enabled by digital technology for warehouse and transport.

Relevant experience required:
Essential:
- Masters / Degree in Engineering / Logistics / Supply Chain Management or equivalent with at least 2 years experience in warehousing or transportation operations preferred
- Strong analytical capability.
- Experience in the latest digital solutions and logistics technologies.
