If that’s you, come join us.</p> <p>Winning as an Underdog is more fun.</p></div><h3>About the role and why it's unique</h3> <ul> <li>Work on cutting-edge projects that gamify and enhance the user experience across our products</li> <li>Design and build clean, reusable, and performant front-end features that will be used by millions of sports fans</li> <li>Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver elegant and responsive web experiences</li> <li>Contribute to the upkeep and ongoing development of our design system and components</li> <li>Write well-tested, high-quality code while participating in code reviews and ensuring engineering best practices</li> <li>Work in a high-agency environment where your voice matters in technical discussions and product direction</li> <li>Learn from talented engineers and leaders in the fantasy and sports betting space while contributing your own unique perspective and expertise</li> </ul> <h3>Who you are</h3> <ul> <li>Product-minded engineer with 6+ years of professional experience building modern web applications</li> <li>Excellent understanding of React and its ecosystem (React Hooks, Context API, functional components, etc.)</li> <li>Strong grasp of JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and state management libraries such as Redux</li> <li>Experience working with RESTful APIs</li> <li>Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally with designers, product managers, and backend engineers</li> <li>Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality, user-focused experiences</li> <li>Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, etc)</li> <li>Experience using GitHub and modern build tools (Webpack, Vite, or similar)</li> <li>Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, product forward mindset</li> </ul> <h3>Even better if you have</h3> <ul> <li>Experience with tools like Amplitude, DataDog and Storybook</li> </ul> <p><em>Our target starting base salary range for this position is between $160,000 and $240,000, plus target equity.
