About this role
General Responsibilities
- Preform preventative maintenance, repairs and modifications on injection molds.
- Assemble and dis-assemble molds for changeover, repairs and spare component analysis.
- Provide technical assistance to technical and production teams as needed.
- Troubleshoot mold tooling issues and implement a plan to solve the problems found
- Complete mold tooling documentation as needed.
Qualifications
- Excellent analytical skills and technical problem solving
- Ability to read electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics
- Ability to be flexible in approach and adapt to workload.
- Methodical problem solving approach
- Good understanding of operating a Mill, Lathe, Grinder, and Welder
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written
- Hot Runner Knowledge of heaters, thermocouples and other components.
- Observe safe rigging and mold handling practices.
