About this role

Housekeeper
Full-Time | Across Multiple Sites | Bournemouth

We have 9 houses all within 2 mile radius from the main offices which are 17 Carysfort road and 4 Hamilton road = totaling 11 sites in total. However, most of the housekeeping duties will be mainly in the 9 sites where clients reside during their treatment stays.

40 hours per week 8:30am - 5pm

£12.21 per hour (£25,396.80 per annum) + Mileage

Providence Projects is one of the UK’s leading addiction treatment providers, dedicated to delivering the highest standards of care and support to our clients. We are now looking for a reliable and motivated housekeeper to join our team, working across multiple sites in Bournemouth.

As a housekeeper, you will play a key role in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our clients, staff, and visitors. You will work to a high standard across all areas, ensuring our facilities reflect the professional and caring ethos of Providence Projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out cleaning duties across multiple residential and clinical sites.
  • Ensure bedrooms, communal areas, kitchens, and bathrooms are maintained to the highest hygiene standards.
  • Replenish supplies and report any maintenance issues promptly.
  • Follow all health and safety and infection control procedures.
  • Support the wider team in creating a safe and supportive environment.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning is preferred but not essential.
  • Willingness to work flexibly across multiple sites in Bournemouth.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Positive, dependable, and proactive attitude.
  • Full UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle.

The Recruitment Process:

  • You will have an initial phone conversation with the talent acquisition specialist, which will be an informal chat and opportunity to ask questions about the position
  • If you are successful in your initial phone conversation, you will be required to undertake an interview on-site or via video conference. (please note that if you have a video interview, you will be required to visit the centre at a later date for a tour.)
