We are currently seeking a Program Coordinator for our Residential Unit for Riveredge Hospital.   The Program Coordinator is member of the interdisciplinary team who assists in total client care through implementation of appropriate therapeutic approaches and related nursing functions within the therapeutic environment.

 

Experience:

  • Previous work experience with adolescent/child population in a residential/ psychiatric setting is preferred.
  • Must demonstrate courtesy and initiative; be dependable, flexible and willing to accept direction.
  • Must be able to demonstrate effective communication skills, have a proven ability to work with patients, and demonstrate good judgment with decision-making.
  • Must value and support hospital goals, objectives and treatment philosophy.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or related field preferred.

 

Requires high school graduate or equivalent.

 

Must be 21 years of age.

 

Maintains compliance with all Hospital annual competencies as well as CPR, and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI).

 

Thoroughly understands the management of the patient milieu including age specific and cultural requirements and has knowledge of JCAHO, CMS, OSHA regulations and all other relevant state and federal regulatory standards.
