The Corporate IS Department is seeking a dynamic and talented Associate Application Analyst - Digital/Mobile.

 

The Associate Application Analyst - Digital/Mobile supports the implementation of UHS applications. Monitors the resolution of maintenance or enhancement issues from user and customer base. Provides technical support to UHS entities as needed. Meets deadlines and ensures continued progress toward assignment completion. Interfaces with the user community regarding application support. Shares experience and expertise with other members of team. Works to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize service disruption.

 

Key Responsibilities include:

 

System Implementation

 

Activities:

  • Tests, supports, and documents new applications or enhancements to existing applications.
  • Supports the implementation of applications.
  • Performs or assists in the performance of unit and system testing
  • Provides documentation as needed.
  • Adheres to appropriate UHS Project Management standards.
  • Ensures strict adherence to work plans, notifying management of delays or obstacles.
  • Assists staff in recommending application solutions to meet business and customer needs

 

System Maintenance/Support

 

Activities:

  • Researches and resolves Customer Support Center Tickets including major application upgrades.
  • Adheres to UHS Service Level and Change Management Policies.
  • Provides on-call support as scheduled.
  • Establishes and maintains regular communications with user community.


Administration and Oversight

 

Activities:

  • Maintains Service Excellence principles.
  • Prepares and promptly submits all routine and special reports.
  • Keeps management well informed of activities, needs, problems.
  • Reviews and reports progress on an ongoing basis
  • Performs other tasks as required by management.

Qualifications

Knowledge:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems relating to relational databases and programming languages, customer support, source control principles and project management concepts.
  • Basic knowledge of system application implementation, enhancement and support methods and practices.
  • Working knowledge of computer systems analysis and programming techniques and procedures, including: consulting with users to determine hardware, software or system functional specifications; design, development, documentation, analysis, creation, testing, coding, debugging, or modification of computer systems or programs based on and related to user design specifications.
  • Basic knowledge of IS standards and quality methods and metrics.
  • Basic knowledge of project management methods.
  • General familiarity of user business practices, concepts and terminology sufficient to support the applications.
  • SQL server experience with views, tables, and stored procedures
  • .NET Framework experience
  • Visual Studio development experience

 

Skills:

  • Ability to test and support database interfaces and database objects.
  • Ability to create system and program level documentation and support documentation.
  • Language proficiency in English, with excellent written and verbal fluency.

 

Travel Requirements: 0 – 5% domestic US travel (depending on projects).
