UGL have an opportunity for an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation Technicians to join our team in Wagerup for a fulltime or casual position starting ASAP!

To be considered for the role you will possess the following skills, experience, and attributes:
- WA Grade A Electrical Licence
- Working at Heights and Confined Spaces (Within 2 Years with 6 months validity)
LVR and CPR within 12 months
- HRWL (WP, LF – Desirable)
Site experience mandatory
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot instrumentation and electrical systems
- Inspect, test, and repair control systems, PLCs, DCS, and field instruments
- Read and interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and manuals
- Perform scheduled and preventive maintenance, ensuring all systems meet safety and operational standards
- Diagnose and resolve faults to minimize downtime and optimize turbine performance
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repairs
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and safety personnel to drive continuous improvement

About UGL Limited
UGL Regional Linx was established in 2021, after parent company, UGL Limited was selected to deliver operations and maintenance of rail infrastructure for the Country Regional Network (CRN). This network ensures the safe movement of people and goods throughout the regions of NSW, and links Sydney with many important regional centres.
UGL Regional Linx commenced operations on January 30 2022 and works on behalf of the client, Transport for NSW (TfNSW) and will be responsible for managing an important network of assets. As part of its operation, UGL Regional Linx’s scope of work includes:
• Network operations
• Rail infrastructure maintenance and implementation of a new train control system - UGL’s proprietary system, Sigview.
• Asset and property management, and
• Safety, access, performance, and environmental management.
UGL Regional Linx has made a strong commitment to local and indigenous employment, further strengthening the organisation’s commitment to regional NSW. As part of its operations, UGL Regional Linx established its head office and Network Control Centre in the heart of the Central West, Orange, NSW.
The CRN network includes:
• 2,386 route kilometres of operational passenger and freight rail lines, including 996 km of branch line track used predominantly for haulage of grain, with lower mass and speed limits than other parts of the network
• 3,139 route kilometres of non-operational lines
• 27,000 hectares of land and infrastructure
• 1,312 level crossings (300 active)
• 1,200 property assets (including 356 heritage sites)
• 600 rail under bridges and 384 road overbridges

What you'll do
- The technicians will install, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot instrumentation and electrical systems. They will also perform scheduled maintenance and collaborate with engineering and operations personnel.
