 UGL's Fuels and Energy East business is seeking a motivated Cost Engineer to join our team. You will play a crucial role in the decommissioning of offshore assets across Bass Strait on behalf of Esso Australia. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-profile project and develop your career in cost engineering.

Reporting to the Project Controls Lead you will contribute to developing and maintaining project budgets whilst working with the planning and scheduling team to ensure project milestones are adhered to.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Delivery Teams in the accurate cost control for their respective Operational Sites across the platforms in Bass Strait
  • Monitor schedule and cost performance indicators
  • Monitor correct cost allocation to the various WBS elements
  • Verify the site data for execution costs and utilize for forecasting
  • Conduct data preparation, consolidation and assist with preparation of operational reports

 About You

  • 5 years of Cost Engineering exposure within engineering contracting or consultancy organisations, exposure to Oil & Gas would be highly desirable
  • Strong experience with Excel, knowledge of PBI and other reporting tools
  • Knowledge of SAP and Primavera is highly advantageous
  • Experience managing multiple work fronts in an industrial environment

About UGL Limited

UGL Regional Linx was established in 2021, after parent company, UGL Limited was selected to deliver operations and maintenance of rail infrastructure for the Country Regional Network (CRN). This network ensures the safe movement of people and goods throughout the regions of NSW, and links Sydney with many important regional centres.

• 3,139 route kilometres of non-operational lines
• 27,000 hectares of land and infrastructure
• 1,312 level crossings (300 active)
• 1,200 property assets (including 356 heritage sites)
• 600 rail under bridges and 384 road overbridges

The CRN is a crucial piece of infrastructure to regional NSW and UGL Regional Linx is committed to ensure that it delivers for all customers, from rail passengers to farmers and industry.
