Under the direction of the Supervisor and in association with the radiologists, the Special Procedures Technologist conducts themselves in a professional manner, responding to patient needs and supporting their colleagues and associates in providing quality patient care. The technologist performs services in accordance to an accepted standard of practice and demonstrates expertise in minimizing radiation exposure to the patient, self and other members of the health care team. The technologist must be able to work independently in that modality.
