About this role

Overview

The staff Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) administers anesthesia to any patient undergoing a surgical procedure, as designated by the attending physician. The CRNA is responsible to the Chairman and the Chief Anesthetist for the Department of Anesthesia. Assignments are performed based on the age and developmental level of patients being served. May assist in evaluation of students.
Qualifications

Required Education: Associate's degree. Specific course work: Associate's degree in Nursing Preferred Education: N/A Required Licensure/Certifications: Licensed to practice nursing in the state of Florida Preferred Licensure/Certifications: N/A Required Experience: Less than one year Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist experience Preferred Experience: N/A Supervisory Responsibility: Supervise graduate students
