
Gather information from multiple sources, analyze and summarize findings, and use data to draw conclusions and support decision-making
Utilize organizational policies, existing knowledge bases, and available tools to formulate recommendations
Assess customer requirements and apply standard IS methodologies when designing solutions for business and clinical needs within defined project scope
Work largely independently within a general framework established by management for analysis, design, testing, and implementation of systems
Provide guidance to and/or serve as a lead for Level 1 (L1) and Level 2 (L2) analysts as needed
Access confidential and protected information as required to support system implementation and maintenance
Maintain strict compliance with all organizational policies and procedures related to information use, disclosure, privacy, and system security
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in computer science or a related field and five (5) years of relevant work experience required
An equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree
Examples of relevant experience include:
Healthcare experience
Project management
Programming/coding
System implementation coordination
Must have knowledge of and experience using standard software applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required
Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills required
Employees in this position may operate vehicles for assigned business purposes and are designated as a non-frequent driver.
Note: A frequent driver is defined as an employee who:
Uses a personal or Shands vehicle at least once daily, or
Makes five (5) or more individual trips per week, or
Drives an average of more than 150 miles per week while performing job duties
