Job-Related Qualifications Required: Jr Rad Tech Education: High School diploma or equivalent AND AA/AS in Radiation Protection, Health Physics, Nuclear Technology, Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Health or related field
Experience: 6 months applicable field experience as a Radiological Protection/Health Physics Technician within a formally structured radiation protection program.
Education may substitute for Experience - 3 months for Associate degree and/or 6 months for Bachelor’s degree.
Prior Training or Qualifications:
Sr Rad Tech Education: High School diploma or equivalent AND AA/AS in Radiation Protection, Health Physics, Nuclear Technology, Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Health or related field
Experience: 2 years of applicable field experience as a Radiological Protection/Health Physics Technician within a formally structured radiation protection program.
Education may substitute for Experience - 3 months for a related Associate degree and/or 6 months for a related Bachelor’s degree.
