About this role

Make your mark for patients

We are looking for a Scientist who is passionate about immune‑cell biology, T‑cell engagers, and advancing next‑generation immunotherapies to join our Immune Reset team, based in Slough, UK.

About the Role

In this role, you will play a key part in progressing novel therapeutic molecules by designing, developing, and executing functional T‑cell engager assays using primary human immune cells. You will drive mechanistic studies, contribute expertise in molecular and structural biology, and collaborate across departments to inform molecular engineering strategies. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the interface of immunology, protein engineering, and translational science.

Who You’ll Work With

You will collaborate closely with immunologists, structural biologists, protein engineers, and cross‑functional project teams. You will also present findings in internal scientific forums and contribute to high‑quality scientific documentation. You will help guide the structural‑biology understanding of antibody–antigen interactions and partner with colleagues across discovery and translational functions.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and execute functional T‑cell engager assays evaluating potency, specificity, and mechanism.
  • Perform mechanistic studies investigating immune synapse formation and T‑cell activation pathways.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally to support structural‑biology interpretation and optimization strategies.
  • Analyse complex immunological datasets and deliver actionable insights to project stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoot technical assay challenges to drive consistency and high‑quality experimental outcomes.
  • Present scientific results clearly during internal and cross‑functional scientific review meetings.
  • Contribute to scientific reports, publications, and documentation supporting program advancement efforts.
  • Isolate and characterize primary immune cell subsets using FACS or MACS‑based approaches.
  • Ensure compliance with Human Tissue Act (HTA) requirements and maintain accurate scientific records.
  • Uphold health, safety, and SOP‑driven standards across all laboratory and documentation activities.

Interested? For this role we’re looking for:

  • Demonstrated expertise in evaluating T‑cell engagers using functional and phenotyping immune assays.
  • Hands‑on experience working with primary immune cells, including isolation via FACS or MACS.
  • Strong background in multi‑parameter flow cytometry, immune profiling, and panel design.
  • Understanding of antibody engineering, structure–function principles, and relevant biophysical concepts.
  • Proficiency with analysis tools such as FlowJo, GraphPad Prism, Excel, and R.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and documentation practices with a strong compliance record under HTA guidelines.
