We are looking for a LIMS Program Lead who is transformational, collaborative and delivery-driven to join our Global Analytical Operations team, based at our UCB campus in Braine-l’Alleud, Walloon Brabant, Belgium.
About the role
As LIMS Program Lead, you are going to play a central role in enabling UCB’s digital ambition. You will act as the bridge between laboratory business needs and IT solutions, ensuring that LIMS solutions are designed, delivered and maintained to truly support analytical operations. You will drive end-to-end LIMS programs, guarantee quality, consistency and sustainability, and ensure laboratories globally can rely on robust, compliant and efficient systems.
Who you will work with
You are going to collaborate closely with laboratory experts, compliance and QA partners, IT teams, system owners, vendors and external partners across multiple sites, contributing to global and cross-functional initiatives.
What you will do
- Lead end-to-end delivery of LIMS programs within agreed timelines, budgets and quality expectations
- Translate laboratory business needs into clear, aligned and actionable system requirements
- Coordinate cross-site, cross-functional project teams and external partners
- Ensure LIMS data consistency and integration with SAP, ELN, LDMA and related systems
- Drive user acceptance testing, performance qualification and end-user training activities
- Act as Business Solution Expert for LIMS changes, upgrades and new integrations
Interested? We are looking for
- Advanced degree in scientific, IT or engineering discipline
- Strong experience with LabWare LIMS in regulated laboratory environments
- Proven leadership of complex, multi-site programs or projects
- Solid knowledge of GxP validation, data integrity and compliance requirements
- Fluency in English and French with strong stakeholder communication skill
