Job Summary:
LENS is a data-based game system analysis team that aims at providing data driven analytics and feedback to production teams on game mechanics and systems throughout the game’s life cycle. We provide everything from individual game mechanic stats to full game reviews to production teams as required.
We are looking for a Junior LENS Analyst to work on covering Ubisoft and external titles for the provision of game mechanics and systems analysis. The job will also require you to perform specialized tests such as Input Latency, Replication Lag, Animation Duration, etc. and identify direct potential competitor titles for the project you work on. If you’re well versed with different game genres and the core mechanics they possess, then you could be a good match for the LENS team.
Job Duties / Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities
Identifying key mechanics of a game and being able to source comparisons from different titles.
Understanding complex systems and breaking them down into constituent parts.
Should have fair knowledge about the Gaming Industry as well as a deep understanding of game genres with additional emphasis on AAA titles.
QC knowledge on various fronts such as build installation, launch arguments, account environments and game commands.
Conscientiously utilize and maintain expensive test hardware.
Being able to multi-task between projects when required.
Ability to create informative presentations and reports when required for any task.
Creation of advanced Excel trackers to maintain large data sets in an organized manner.
