They are responsible for ensuring all freight is serviced to meet/exceed the customer’s standards, while also communicating customer needs and changes to the operations teams. They are expected to develop and maintain customer relationships, while achieving company defined operational metrics.</div> <p><strong>What the Candidate Will Do</strong></p> <ul> <li>Establish and maintain effective relationships with customer contacts, including shippers and receivers, through professional and timely communications and inquiry responses</li> <li>Responsible for understanding current market trends, to successfully offer pricing to customers’ requests for quotes</li> <li>Notify Shipper and/or Receiver of shipment status and reschedule pick-up/delivery appointments when necessary</li> <li>Set-up New Locations (Shippers/Receivers); and/or Set-up new vendors</li> <li>Correspond with customer and carrier sales team regarding accessorial charges</li> <li>Maintain current customer rates in the Transportation Management System and up-to-date Fuel Surcharge by Customer</li> <li>Manage shipment level interaction with client customer service and Uber Freight logistics support to handle day to day activities such as tracking, tracing and communications</li> <li>Responsible for confirming billing information is accurate and ready for invoicing</li> <li>Ensure operational compliance for US and Foreign Regulatory Requirements</li> </ul> <p><strong>Basic Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED equivalent</li> <li>Minimum 2 years related experience</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in related field</li> <li>3 years of Logistics experience and 1 year of management experience</li> <li>Transportation/Logistics experience</li> <li>Knowledge of Microsoft Tools and Transportation Management Systems</li> </ul> <p><strong>Benefits &amp; Compensation for U.S. Employees</strong></p> <p><span data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">Employees working more than 30 hours in the US at Uber Freight are eligible for benefits like a company sponsored health plan, dental and vision benefits, 401k match, financial and mental wellness benefits, parental leave, short- and long-term disability coverage, life insurance and more.&nbsp; US based employees may also be eligible for a performance or sales incentive bonus program, participation in Uber Freight equity awards, and other types of compensation depending upon the role.</span></p> <p><strong><span data-contrast="auto"><span data-ccp-parastyle="heading 3">About Uber Freight</span></span></strong><span data-ccp-props="{&quot;134245418&quot;:true,&quot;134245529&quot;:true,&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559738&quot;:160,&quot;335559739&quot;:80,&quot;335559740&quot;:278}">&nbsp;</span></p> <div><span data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">Uber Freight helps companies move goods more reliably and efficiently.
