SUMMARY
The Staff Accountant is responsible for performing basic accounting functions and supporting Senior Accountants in the overall accounting cycle.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties and tasks may be assigned.
- Cash/bank reconciliations
- Prepare JV financials (i.e. run and organize reports)
- Prepare JV cash flows
- Prepare rent/CAM invoices (as applicable)
- Review rent summaries to ensure any rate increases have been captured
- Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Promote customer satisfaction, both internal and external
- Assist as needed to perform other related duties and special projects as required
- Actively promote GUEST customer service standards; develop effective relationships at all levels of the organization
- Participates in team concepts and promote a team effort; performs duties in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Regular and reliable attendance is required for the job
Qualifications/Requirements:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Requirements include:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Must have proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point and Outlook) with Intermediate Excel Skills; proficiency in USRC applications required within 90 days of hire.
- Previous Experience with Great Plains or D365 (preferred but not required)
