SUMMARY

Mail Services Coordinator will be responsible for daily incoming and outgoing mail and shipments, keeping inventory and ordering of all mailing supplies need on a day to day basis and for special projects, backing up receptionist for breaks, lunches, and time off, assisting with special projects as needed and approved by office manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties and tasks may be assigned.

 

  • Ensure daily overnight packages are sent out each day
  • Work with various shipping services to coordinate incoming and outgoing packages
  • Receiving and delegating daily mail across the company
  • American Kidney Fund mail processing, per AKF specific handling instructions
  • Maintain and coordinate all mailing supplies for daily use and special projects, such as envelopes, boxes, etc,.
  • Escort supply vendors from shipping dock to our floors (Canteen, Iron Mountain, Office Depot, UPS/FedEx)
  • Assist with various special projects across the company, as needed
  • Actively promotes GUEST customer service standards; develops effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Participates in team concepts and promote a team effort; performs duties in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is required for the job.
Qualifications

Qualifications/Requirements:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Requirements include:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Detail oriented, skilled at multi-tasking and time management
  • Ability to anticipate needs and prioritize workload
  • 1-3 years previous general office experience preferred, but not required
