Job Description

Strategic technical leader responsible for designing, implementing, and governing a robust analytics multi-cloud architecture across platforms such as AWS and Azure. This role focuses on creating a unified analytics ecosystem that enables seamless interoperability between cloud environments, ensuring secure and compliant operations while meeting regulatory and organizational standards. The architect will drive cost optimization strategies, implement governance frameworks, and establish architectural best practices to support scalability, resilience, and performance. Additionally, this role partners closely with engineering, security, and business stakeholders to align cloud initiatives with enterprise objectives, accelerate innovation, and deliver value through modern cloud technologies. The Cross-Cloud Ecosystem Architect will design and govern a multi-cloud architecture spanning AWS/Azure. This role ensures interoperability, security, compliance, and cost optimization while aligning cloud strategies with enterprise objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Develop and maintain Analytics multi-cloud architecture blueprints and standards.
•    Ensure analytics integration and interoperability across cloud platforms and enterprise systems.
•    Implement governance frameworks, compliance standards, and security controls.
•    Optimize analytics cloud cost models and monitor KPIs for operational efficiency.
•    Drive innovation and adoption of analytics emerging cloud technologies.
•    Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
•    Drive capacity planning, performance tuning, and disaster recovery strategies.
•    Oversee cloud lifecycle management, including provisioning and decommissioning.
•    Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies for analytics.
•    Lead analytics proof-of-concepts (POCs) for new cloud services and tools.
•    Champion automation and DevOps practices for faster delivery.
•    Partner with engineering, product, and business teams to deliver scalable solutions.
•    Provide technical mentorship and training to internal teams.
•    Excellent stakeholder management and communication.
•    Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence strategic decisions.
•    Agile mindset and experience in iterative delivery models.

Qualifications:
•    15+ years in cloud architecture or enterprise integration roles.
•    Expertise in AWS/Azure services.
•    Strong knowledge of cloud security frameworks (NIST, PCI, GDPR).
•    Proficiency in automation, DevOps, and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
•    Proficiency in Snowflake, Collibra, Databricks, and Redshift/other 3rd party technology solutions
•    Expertise in dual cloud environments (Azure/AWS)

Preferred certifications: 
o AWS Certified Solutions Architect
o Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $149,515.00 - $175,900.00
