Job Details:

  • Complete position posting signup sheet.
  • Maintain cleanliness of plant in accordance with the Master Cleaning Schedule.
  • Must complete Fall Protection Training and adhere to all procedures.
  • Coordinate with Maintenance and Production setup/breakdown crew for breakdown and reassembly of equipment.
  • Work with various chemicals/cleaning agents safely, following all applicable safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Use highpressure water hose and highpressure air wand for cleaning.
  • Clean all equipment in accordance with SOPs.
  • Maintain control of all issued equipment and tools.
  • Complete the Sanitation Training Checklist within the designated training period.
  • Maintain good manufacturing practices and personal hygiene.
  • Must be able to work every weekend and holidays.
  • Assist in traceability of scrap in certain areas of the facility.
  • Work a variable schedule and up to 12 hours per shift.
  • Perform all work safely.
  • Follow company policies and procedures, written or verbal.
  • Work as a team toward task accomplishment.
  • Perform all other tasks as assigned by management.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

  • Requires flexibility of wrists and hands; walking, bending, standing, and some lifting. Must tolerate heights up to 70 ft. Lifting up to 50 lbs frequently and moving up to 100 lbs with a mechanical device.
  • Must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Must successfully complete scissor lift training, forklift training, or pallet jack training as required by sanitation management.
  • Must be able to use a highpressure hose (air or water).
  • Must be able to complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
