Job Description
- Implementation of Health and Safety policies, procedures at site
- Ensuring the safe construction activities in co-ordination with vendor/contractors and as per client guidelines.
- Record keeping and documentation of EHS related work
- Ensuring the safety induction of workers
- Review the MSRA & HIRA
- Preparation of reports and client reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Technical Degree in H&S Management, Engineering, or Specialty area (i.e. Industrial Hygiene, Construction); or three (3) years in H&S management role(s).
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in industrial, civil, or technology-related construction sector(s).
- Fluency in the local language, as well as proficiency in the English language (native or secondary).
- In-depth knowledge of H&S standards and regulations for the identified country/region.
- Competency in occupational H&S management systems (i.e. ISO 45001; OHSAS 18001).
- Proven expertise in hazard risk assessment, safe method working statements, and post-incident root cause analysis.
- Experience in the evaluation/auditing of CSMPs.
