About this role

As our Senior Sales Specialist, you'll drive TUI Airline's sales and brand presence in key regional markets through external partnerships, acting as the vital bridge between our airline and local travel trade networks to unlock new revenue streams.

ABOUT THE JOB

  • You'll build and nurture strong relationships with our local distribution partners, providing regular updates, training, and commercial support to ensure they're equipped to sell TUI Airline effectively.
  • You'll drive flight bookings through proactive local engagement, promotional campaigns and culturally relevant sales initiatives, monitoring performance and supporting partners with targeted commercial actions.
  • You'll identify new sales opportunities and represent TUI at local industry events, cultural associations and community networks where travel decisions are influenced.
  • You'll support the implementation of local sales promotions, incentive programs and tactical pricing offers aligned with seasonal peaks and diaspora travel trends.
  • You'll assist partners with booking system queries, fare loading, and troubleshooting of technical issues, providing feedback to central teams on recurring issues or enhancement needs.
  • You'll track sales performance, customer feedback, and competitor actions, providing regular local insights to inform broader channel strategy while ensuring all activities align with TUI's commercial and brand positioning.

ABOUT YOU

  • You have proven experience in sales, account management, or customer-facing roles in the travel or airline industry with a track record of building trust-based relationships with distribution partners.
  • You possess deep understanding of travel behaviors and decision-making dynamics across diverse cultural contexts, with the ability to engage respectfully and commercially with specific communities.
  • You bring strong commercial awareness, including knowledge of airline pricing, ancillary sales, and channel performance metrics.
  • You have a service-oriented mindset with the ability to support partners in both commercial and operational matters, including basic understanding of GDS systems or airline booking tools.
  • You're a clear, engaging communicator able to represent TUI in diverse stakeholder environments, with experience running workshops, sales briefings, or local events.
  • You're fluent in English and relevant local market languages, with a self-starting, adaptable approach and willingness to travel extensively.
