Intellectual Property Litigation Partner
Location: Any Tucker Ellis Office Nationwide (Hybrid or Remote Possible)
Overview
Tucker Ellis LLP, an Am Law 200 firm with a national footprint and 11 offices across the country, is seeking an experienced Intellectual Property Litigation Partner to join our growing IP practice group. This is a strategic growth opportunity driven by increased demand in our patent and trademark litigation practices, with a particular emphasis on complex patent disputes.
Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking a collaborative, business-minded partner with deep experience in patent litigation and supporting experience in trademark litigation. The ideal candidate will be a strong advocate, trusted advisor, and team-oriented leader who values collaboration within a full-service platform.
Candidates should have experience handling sophisticated IP disputes in federal court and, ideally, before administrative tribunals. While a portable book of business is strongly preferred, we are also open to partners with demonstrated growth potential who are eager to expand their practice within a nationally recognized IP litigation platform while also assisting with litigation that spins out from current IP clients at Tucker Ellis.

Qualifications
- JD from an accredited law school andactive bar license in good standing.
- Minimum of 8 years of IP litigation experience, with a primary focus onpatent litigationandadditionalexperience intrademark litigation.
- Experience managing all phases of IP litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, claim construction, expert discovery, and trial preparation.
- Demonstrated ability to develop, maintain, and grow client relationships.
- Portable book of business strongly preferred, though not required for candidates with strong growth potential to develop business.
- Excellent written and oral advocacy skills, along with strong strategic judgment.

Additional Information
This position requires the ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods, operate a computer and other office equipment, and occasionally move about the office or attend in-person meetings, hearings, depositions, and court proceedings.
Compensation is commensurate with experience, portable book of business, and other relevant factors, and may include a performance-based bonus structure.
