Position Description

As an Inside Sales Specialist, you will play a key role in building and maintaining relationships with remote Home Hardware dealers who do not receive in-person engagement. Through consistent communication and support via phone and Teams, you will strengthen dealer connections, drive sales growth, increase product and category adoption, and identify potential prospects to share with the Territory Rep team.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and execute a structured sales call plan to engage Home Hardware dealers, ensuring consistent and personalized communication.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with remote dealers, providing full visibility to new product, promotions, warehouse listings and drop ship opportunities.
  • Engage with dealers through product recommendations and regular call-cycle to highlight the National Flyer, New Product, relevant promotions and merchandising solutions. Feature end-cap promotions and dump bin opportunities.
  • Analyze dealer performance to drive strategy and recommendations.  
  • Collaborate with HH sales team to ensure consistent messaging and optimal support for dealers.
  • Facilitate new orders with customer service.
  • Develop a monthly sales plan, accountable for sales goals and objectives.

What You Will Bring

  • Minimum 1-year sales and/or marketing experience. Experience dealing with retail customers will be viewed as an asset.
  • Being Bilingual (English and French) will be considered an asset.
  • Is eager to learn, open to feedback, and enthusiastic about professional growth.
  • University degree or College diploma.
  • PC literate in Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong communication skills – written, verbal and excellent presentation skills.
  • Takes positive approach and has sense of urgency.
