Description

Summary

The Assembler is a team member who is authorized, responsible and accountable for maintaining quality standards by means of performing and documenting the assembly of parts and assemblies to complete finished product, meeting defined production standards, schedules, and quality requirements.


Responsibilities

Under general supervision, responsibilities may include, and not limited to:

  • Performs the assembly of parts and assemblies to complete finished product in accordance with job traveler operations, engineering specifications, production standards and quality requirements.
  • Prepares parts and sets up necessary tools and equipment for assembly processes.
  • Reviews finished assemblies, parts and product to ensure accuracy production requirements.
  • Prepares for shipping finished product by packaging, crating palletizing, and loading as required.
  • Reports production issues and assist in resolutions as required.
  • Performs additional tasks and responsibilities at the discretion of the Director of Operations.

This position is Monday through Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm or 8:00am-4:30pm. 

Requirements

  • Authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a production environment preferred.
  • Familiarity with the use of hand and power tools.
  • Detail orientated, strong analytical skills and ability to organize, prioritize, and plan work to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient verbal and listening abilities with a diverse workteam, customers and coworkers.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and work instructions and proficient at using Microsoft Office – Word,Excel, and Outlook. JobBoss experience preferred.
