The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for processing customer orders, preparing accurate price quotes, and providing exceptional customer support. This role serves as a key liaison between customers, sales, and internal teams to ensure timely, accurate, and efficient order fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently via phone, email, or online systems
- Prepare and issue customer quotes based on pricing guidelines, product availability, and lead times
- Verify order details including pricing, quantities, delivery dates, and customer requirements
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, pricing, order status, and delivery timelines
- Coordinate with sales, production, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure order accuracy and on-time delivery
- Maintain accurate customer, order, and pricing records in CRM/ERP systems
- Resolve order discrepancies, pricing issues, and customer concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Follow company policies, procedures, and service standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Previous experience in customer service, order processing, or sales support preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with ERP/CRM systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and customer-focused mindset
