Tempering Furnace Operator – Night Shift

Who You Are:

An ideal candidate would be someone that is reliable, self-motivated, team player, hardworking individual that is looking to start or further their career in the glass industry.

 What You Will Be Doing:

A Trulite Tempering Furnace Operator would:

• Operate heat treating furnace and run product through according to production schedule
• Setup and adjust recipes according to product type and outcomes of quality inspections
• Load product onto tempering line to be heat treated
• Perform required quality inspections and document results
• Inspect, approve, or reject product before sent to next department
• Log rejected product and report findings to QC, Supervisor, and Production Control
• Perform different job functions on a rotating basis

Skills You Bring:

• Three years of previous work experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, production, or glass industry preferred but not necessary
• One year of computer controlled machine operating experience
• Hight School Diploma or GED, preferred
• Able to lift up to 75lbs unassisted
• Able to read and interpret basic mathematical measurements
• Able to use a tape measure consistently down to 1/32”.
