ROLE SUMMARY:
The Senior Supply Chain Manager of Inventory Control will lead and oversee all aspects of inventory governance across the organization, including material, production, cultivation, distribution, and external location inventory movements, orders, and adjustments. This role requires close and continuous collaboration with a broad range of departments, including but not limited to Operations, Finance, Retail, Accounting, IT, and Legal, as well as active participation in high-level strategic meetings with the C-Suite.
The Senior Supply Chain Manager of Inventory Control will manage and develop teams responsible for organizing and executing all inventory management functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in counts, system adjustments, and variance investigations. Acting as the primary steward of the company’s virtual inventory environments, this leader will ensure data integrity and operational alignment within both internal ERP systems (Trulieve) and mandatory state-level tracking systems.
This position is both strategic and operational. The Senior Manager will engage in high-level decision-making, contribute to long-term action plans, and oversee day-to-day operations that drive sustainable financial results through optimal inventory performance. The successful candidate will bring proven leadership capabilities, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to influence and collaborate across the enterprise. Strong communication skills—both written and verbal—are essential, with the ability to present persuasively and maintain a polished, professional style in all interactions.
Location: This role is REMOTE and is an on-site position, and requires up to 25-35% time travel
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This role directs cross-functional teams and oversees the alignment of systems, processes, and regulatory requirements to safeguard inventory value, support operational efficiency, and ensure compliance with both internal policies and external mandates.
1. Inventory Accuracy Leadership - The NTL Manager is accountable for maintaining the highest standards of inventory accuracy across all locations and systems. This includes the oversight of SAP inventory adjustments, analysis and investigation of discrepancies, and the implementation of corrective actions in partnership with Operations teams. The role ensures timely and accurate variance reporting, manages physical inventory counts in accordance with SOX requirements, and facilitates quarterly on-site counts with external auditors. Strategic guidance is provided to identify root causes of discrepancies, enhance control measures, and strengthen reporting processes.
2. Production and Distribution Support Oversight - Serving as the primary point of contact for SAP-related business activities, the NTL Manager manages the resolution of SAP transaction errors and leads the development of process flows that align SAP transactions with operational and physical activities. This role ensures the Operations team executes transactions accurately and in compliance with established standards. Acting as a gatekeeper, the NTL Manager authorizes and oversees all operational adjustment requests, ensuring that every action supports organizational efficiency and compliance.
3. Account and Compliance Governance - The NTL Manager functions as the principal liaison between Accounting, Compliance, and Operations on all SAP inventory-related matters. Responsibilities include creating and delivering comparative reports between SAP and state regulatory systems, such as the State of Florida BioTrack platform, ensuring both systems remain aligned and error-free. The role monitors for systematic discrepancies, directs corrective actions in real time, and supports compliance and security investigations through expert data gathering, analysis, and resolution oversight.
4. Strategic Cross-Functional Leadership - This position operates at the intersection of Operations, Accounting, Compliance, and IT, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration between departments. The NTL Manager participates in strategic planning sessions, contributing insights on process optimization, regulatory compliance, and systems integration to support the company’s operational and financial objectives.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
· Degree in business, finance, supply chain, or a related field preferred.
· 10+ years of experience in inventory planning or control management
· Strong organizational and time management skills.
· Knowledge of logistics and production processes.
· Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, and material management systems.
· Strong direct and indirect leadership over other departments
· Capable to travel 20-25% of time domestically.
· Resides in Florida, preferrable in Tallahassee or Tampa area.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
This position will be responsible for supervision of a small team of planning managers and SKU portfolio managers/analysts.
Salary will be commensurate with experience. A comprehensive benefits package including paid time off is offered with this position. This position will work an average of 40 - 55 hours per week and will be available “after hours” if an emergency situation should arise. Assigned annual bonus over performance results will be also available.
